Principal Research Associate & Ageing, Sarcopenia and Multimorbidity Theme EDI Lead
Antoneta is a Principal Research Associate in Interdisciplinary Ageing Studies in the Ageing, Sarcopenia and Multimorbidity (ASM) Research Theme within the NIHR Newcastle BRC. Prior to joining Newcastle University in 2012, Antoneta was a Senior Biological Scientist at the University of South Florida. She draws on her expertise to lead studies of the risk factors and biological mechanisms of skeletal muscle ageing, sarcopenia and multiple long-term conditions in older adults.
