BRC Leadership Track for the Musculoskeletal Disease and Inflammation Medicine Theme.

Ken is a Senior Clinical Fellow working with the Musculoskeletal Research Group at Newcastle University, and Honorary Consultant Rheumatologist with Newcastle Hospitals. His research examines rheumatoid arthritis, with the aim if identifying biomarkers that can predict drug-free remission and flare. This may help to guide current drug therapy, as well as identifying potential new therapeutic targets.

Dr Baker received funding from the Newcastle BRC to complete his doctoral studies and projects, as part of the Musculoskeletal Disease research theme.
