Clinical Senior Lecturer and Honorary Consultant Geriatrician
Catherine is a Clinical Senior Lecturer in the AGE Research Group and Honorary Consultant in Geriatric Medicine in the Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. She has been involved in ageing research in diverse settings since 2005 when she completed an MD on the epidemiology of Parkinson’s disease in Tanzania. She is passionate about enabling early career students and doctors to be involved in ageing and global health research and brings this passion along with her wealth of expertise in the supervision of MRes students to her role as Research Capacity Development lead within the AGE Research Group.
