Project Manager
Jess holds an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science and a master’s degree in Neuromuscular Disease. She has been working in the Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) field for three years, previously contributing to the TREAT-NMD project which supported global registries in implementing the TREAT-NMD SMA expanded core dataset. Jess has a keen interest in translational research and trial planning.
As the Project Manager for the Adult SMA REACH, Jess leads the coordination and delivery of this multi-stakeholder project, which aims to better understand the needs, priorities, and lived experiences of adults with SMA. She is responsible for overseeing day-to-day project activities, managing timelines and deliverables, and ensuring effective collaboration across clinical teams, patient advocacy groups, and academic partners. Jess also plays a key role in stakeholder engagement, data collection strategies, and the integration of patient perspectives into research and service development.
