NIHR Newcastle BRC is committed to the development of a skilled interdisciplinary academic workforce focused on increasing the health and societal challenges of ageing and multiple long-term conditions in the UK.
One of our strategic priorities in order to support the next generation of research leaders is to build an inclusive faculty of doctoral researchers from a broad range of academic disciplines and professional backgrounds. The BRC will continue to make a significant investment in developing the brightest future research leaders. As such, the BRC is delighted to launch the latest round of fully funded PhD studentship opportunities. PhD students will benefit from being part of interdisciplinary teams, be equipped with knowledge and skills to undertake high quality experimental medicine and translational research in ageing and multiple long-term conditions.
